# Stake SOL

Quickly stake the SOL in your Fordefi wallet by using Staking Kiwi or Kiln.

## Option 1: Stake SOL using Staking Kiwi

1. Navigate to [Staking Kiwi](https://staking.kiwi/).
2. Click **Connect Wallet**.
3. Select **Fordefi**.

4. In the Fordefi extension, ensure the correct Solana vault is selected.
5. From the list, choose a validator to delegate to.
6. Enter the amount of SOL to stake.

7. Click **Stake now**.
The Fordefi extension appears.
8. Click **Create**.
9. Sign the transaction in the Fordefi mobile app.


Your SOL has been staked!

## Option 2: Stake SOL using Kiln

1. Navigate to [Kiln](https://www.kiln.fi).
2. Click **Connect Wallet**.

3. Select **Fordefi**.

4. In the Fordefi extension, ensure the correct Solana vault is selected.

5. Navigate to Staking in Kiln’s interface.
6. Enter the amount of SOL you wish to stake.
7. Choose a staking method (Kiln might display multiple validators or pools).
8. Click **Stake**.
The Fordefi extension appears.
9. Click **Create**.
10. Sign the transaction in the Fordefi mobile app.


Your SOL has been staked via Kiln!
