# Export Audit Logs

Fordefi lets you view and download an audit log of administrative actions in the platform.

Audit Log and Transaction Log
- The Audit Log captures all administrative actions that were performed by the organization.
- The Transaction Log, in contrast, saves all the transactions that are made by all users in the organization. [Learn more](/user-guide/manage-transactions/export-a-transaction).


## View the audit log

1. In the side menu, click **Settings**, then click **Audit Log**.

2. Browse all actions in the log, or click **Filters** to filter them:
  - Use the **Timestamp**, **Creating user** and **Category** filters to create a query.
  - Click **Apply**.


The  actions corresponding to the filters are displayed.

## Export the audit log

To export all actions in the audit log, or those corresponding to an active filter, click the Export button in the upper right corner of the screen.
